Welcome to “Writing Style, Opinions of Others, and Game Performance” a web-based task. You will be partnered with another participant through our network. You will be asked to write and read a short paragraph, answer some questions about yourself and the other person, and play a short game. Before taking part in this study, please read the consent form below, and click on the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the page if you understand the statements and freely consent to participate in the study.

The study involves no known risk to the individual. Participation in the study typically takes around 10 minutes and is strictly confidential.

To help protect your confidentiality, the survey will not contain information that will personally identify you. All responses are totally anonymous and all data will be pooled and published in aggregate form only. The software being used stores all data in a secure manner and when the questionnaire is completed and transmitted it is encrypted. All study data is stored in a password protected electronic format in accordance with data protection guidelines. The results of this study will be used for scholarly purposes only.

Participation is voluntary, refusal to take part in the study involves no penalty, and participants may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty.
